About Little Oaks

Who it is for

Parents choosing a nursery want to see the building, the day and the fees before they fill in anything, and Little Oaks puts those three first. It is meant for a play-based preschool or kindergarten taking children from one to five, with age-grouped rooms, a tour booking flow and a short list of weekly extras.

How the pages are laid out

The home page sorts children by stage into four rooms called Seedlings, Sprouts, Saplings and Acorns Pre-K, then walks through a typical day from porridge to pick-up, adds a line on play as the serious work of childhood, and shows news from the week. A 'Come for a wander' page offers tour times, explains what happens on a visit and lays out monthly fees for half days, school days and full days. A day-in-the-life page starts with breakfast club, and the Programs page lists extras such as forest morning, music and movement and Spanish songs.

Design notes

Playful without tipping into cartoon. Fredoka's rounded capitals suit the headings, Nunito keeps parent-facing text calm, and a warm coral red on cream is lifted by a stripe of yellow. Photographs are cropped into circles and soft blobs rather than hard rectangles.

Good to know

The page builder is Elementor, so room descriptions and fee tables are edited in the visual editor. The theme is available for WordPress, Shopify and Next.js as separate $9 purchases, each made to order. Fees, ages and room names in the demo are placeholders.
