About PixelForge Games

Who it is for

PixelForge is for an indie game studio shipping pixel-art titles to PC and consoles, with a small team that blogs about development. It treats each game as a product page with editions and platforms, so a studio with two or three releases and a playtest sign-up has the right shelf space.

How the pages are laid out

A 'cartridge shelf' on the home page presents games such as Lanternfall, Deep Shift and Neon Courier, followed by 'Small team. Long polish.', devlog and journal posts, high scores and a call to help break the next game. The Games page, 'Choose your cartridge', lists six titles with save-point news. A game page, shown with Lanternfall, covers what is in the cartridge (hand-lit world, no fail states, original score, accessibility) and a 'Pick your edition' row. The Studio page introduces seven people and house rules, and Devlog, Playtest and Contact complete the set.

Design notes

Arcade-cabinet loud. Bungee provides blocky, sign-painter headlines, Silkscreen supplies tiny pixel type for labels, Rubik handles reading text, and a hot pink accent runs across dark violet panels. Cartridge-style cards and score boards tie in with the subject.

Good to know

The Elementor build comes for WordPress, Shopify and Next.js as three separate $9 purchases, all made to order. Game titles, editions and screenshots are demo content. There is no store or download delivery in the theme.
