Who it is for
Verdant suits a garden design and landscaping firm that designs, builds and then maintains gardens. It helps a business that sells in stages: a first visit, a design, a build and seasonal care, and that benefits from letting people discover their taste before they call.
How the pages are laid out
From the top of the home page: a first-sketch-to-first-bloom introduction, three highlighted services (garden design, hard landscaping, planting and borders), finished gardens such as The Wisteria Walk and Ridgeline House, a four-season process (walk the site, draw the garden, build and plant, grow it on), and potting-shed articles. A Garden Style Quiz, headed 'Which garden are you?', offers six styles from romantic cottage to woodland shade. The Services page lists six offers including irrigation and seasonal care, and Contact is headed 'Let's walk your garden'.
Design notes
Soft, natural and a little literary. Young Serif gives headings a chunky, friendly look, Hanken Grotesk handles lists and forms, and a leaf green accent sits on paper-colored backgrounds. Planting photography is cropped in circles and arches, which echoes garden shapes.
Good to know
The page builder is Elementor, and each of WordPress, Shopify and Next.js is a separate $9 purchase, made to order. The style quiz is a designed layout, so it does not score answers or recommend a design on its own.
