About Lumi

Who it is for

Lumi suits a small maker or shop selling wooden toys, nursery items and gifts to parents who care about materials and age suitability. The store logic is organized around a child's stage rather than a price list, which helps first-time parents and gift buyers who are not sure what to pick.

How the pages are laid out

The home page sorts toys by stage, from grasping, mouthing and gazing through stacking, sorting and first steps to pretend play, puzzles and games, then by kind of play and a trust strip that mentions FSC certified wood, EN 71 safety testing, gift wrap for $5 and carbon-neutral delivery. The collection page filters by age band (0 to 1, 1 to 3) and shows a 'No toys match those filters' state. A product page, a basket, search, About, a Journal with a guide to wooden toys by age, and Contact & FAQ complete it.

Design notes

Gentle and rounded. Nunito and Quicksand are friendly, round-edged sans faces and are used for both headings and text, while a muted blue-gray accent keeps the palette quiet. Cards have plenty of padding, and the whole look favors natural wood tones in photography over bright plastic colors.
